CTS Final Project : The Game Tournament

Game, is one of a very important thing that built up my childhood, i would say that without games my childhood would be very boring. Games really stayed with our lives since we're small till we become teenagers, even elders do play games too!

This time, our final project for Creative Thinking Skills is The Game Tournament - Creating a Gane out of Daily Object. Yup, so I'm going to create a game by using my "Buddy" this time.

This project is divided into two parts which is Part A, the individual game video submission of how to play your game and also an A4 booklet about your game and the researches that you have done. Then, 1 out of 5 games in the group will be chosen and the game will be played on the tournament day. The part B is the group component part which is modifying your game to fit the tournament day requirement and also creating a video of how to play your NEW game. Last but not least, we have to make a group cheer and also decide our group costume.

PART A
Before creating our games by just using imagination, we are required to do researches on what is a game, history of game, what type of game do we have and etc. This is because that we have to be clear of the thing so that we can produce a better outcome.

Besides, there're some rules that we have to obey is that our game has to be related to the function or characteristic of our object and It could not be replaced by other object easily, well it really gave me a lot of headache because of this.

After doing researches and going through few creative thinking technique, i finally came out with a my game and I've made a video about how to play the game.

Through this project I really learnt a lot, I learnt that creating something is not only requires imagination and creativity. It also requires many knowledge about the thing you wanted to create and so on. Besides, I also learnt to use some creative thinking technique and applying them to my project works. I truly believes that this will not only benefits me for now but for the future !

TGC Capabilities

Throughout this project, I've learnt to use different technique and method to create a game out of my daily object, cotton bud. As the game had to be relevant to my object's main use, I've studied my object's characteristics, how to use it, and began my exploration toward my object.

  Finally, with the information i've gathered, using the creative thinking tool taught by my lecturer, Miss D and from the internet, I've able to create a game which is from my daily object.

PART B
The part B of this project was a group component where we are required to modify the selected game among our group to be played on the tournament day.
We were also required to plan our costume and group cheer.

As for my group, our group costume were plain YELLOW polo-T with jeans.

Reflection of the Tournament Day :
It was really a tiring but awesome day ! Although not everyone of us had the chance to play every game of other groups, but we still enjoyed it !
I'm really glad that our game worked perfectly and everyone's enjoying it.

During this group component, time management is really important. Everything had to be done within 10 minutes each round. Luckily I have my awesome group members helping to discuss and plan the whole thing and it worked on the day ! It proofs that our hard work was not a waste !
