Picture from The Journal Brief Slide

Besides than our ENBE projects, our lecturers had also introduced an extra exercise for us - The Journal Exercise.
The aim of this exercise is as a medium for students to record idea, their investigation, information and references.
We all will be given a topic based on two main components and produce a maximum of 5 pages journal on a A4 paper.
We can sketch, doodle, add photos, add diagrams, add definitions or research data and materials in the journal but they must be in handwritten and handdrawn.
We are adviced to use visual note taking technique to do this exercise , which is a combination of pictures, diagrams and drawings with words with clear information but not in paragraph which allows readers to understand easily.
The Journal is 20% for the final marks of ENBE so do not think they are not important !

The first exercise of "The Journal"
As the first exercise for The Journal , the topic given to us was " Conservation / Restoring Ecology ". We have to do research on what was it about and do deep research of a selected topic related to it.

For my The Journal 01, I've done research on Japan's conservation and restoration movement as I've heard that Japan was one of the country who encourages the protection towards to nature.

In the journal exercise 02, we are required to study about the symbiotic relationship in nature.
In our daily life, undeniably sometimes we have to work with or pay for others to achieve our goals but of course not harming others. During my researches about the symbiotic relationship, I found that actually some animal and plant helps each   other for their purpose, obtaining something from another, or harms another like in our human world just in a different way that we doesn't know.

Among the journal exercises, I really found that the nature is closely related to us human. The animals and plants actually acts like us but just in a different way and secretly if we don't explore it.

Well, the mystery of nature is still too much for us to explore, we should really preserve the nature to keep these mysteries uncovered !
