The Final Outcome of our group:
Reason that we choose this scene to act:
Throughout our observation towards the movie and after some difficult choices to make, we had decided to choose the scene where Lady Tuptim and her love, Balat beheaded. First of all, why not choosing the war scene at the end of story? This is because that through our observation, the war scene in the movie is more towards tactic and strategy, which doesn't fit to our goal which is learning the culture in the movie whereas the scene where Lady Tuptim and Balat beheaded fits our requirement. Through this event happened, we could know that the power and dignity of King of Siam can not be questioned and destroyed. Besides, we can also know that the status of women during that time which is they has no choice in selecting their life.

| Thinking and Problem Solving Skills |
The best thing I've got from this project is thinking and problem solving skills which allows me to think critically and creatively and also allowing me to define and analyse problem to arrive at effective solutions.
First of all, why say so? From the beginning of this project, we are required to research on our movies and extracting the information we want from it. This requires us to think critically so that we can filter out the unused information thus extracting the one we need. Then, from all the information we got, we have to choose a scene or event we are going to act on our performance day which is suitable. It wasn't an easy job as there are a lot of scenes and events happening in an 2 and a half hour movie but still we managed to make our decision with the guide of our tutors and through some discussions.
That wasn't the end yet, after choosing an event, we have to find out the props and some other items we required to create ourselves. Most of the props we created by using some cardboard and some other materials. One thing to mention is our king throne, we re-designed it and created it by looking at various throne designs, thai-carvings and others. It wasn't look exactly the same but we did tried our best. AND DON'T FORGET THE COSTUMES! One of the greatest and the most interesting part of this project is the costume making part, where we are required to remake a costume of each of our character ourselves. Personally, I have to figure out how to fold my monk robe by just using some textiles and after some research and observations, I managed to do so.
In a nutshell, this project really squeezed up my brain to get more ideas, but still it was a really interesting project for us to learn about other's culture instead of lying on the books. I really appreciated that I had this opportunity to do this.
