The Design Journal is an 2-week-submit assignment for the course Design Visualization. It is a platform for us in learning the Design Principles and Elements through creating Artworks by different ways.
In each Design Journal, we are required to produce 1 artwork about a specific Design Element and 1 artwork about a specific Design Principle. Sometimes it could be 1 artwork about a design element and principle together.
Then, we have 1 or 2 more pieces of paper for our explanation of artwork and also understanding about the design element and principle.
The explanation and understanding should be written in a specific Design Journal Template given by our lecturers.
Design Journal 01：
Design Element： Point and Lines ( White Pencil on Black Paper )
Design Principle：Balance ( A Black and White Photograph printed out in 5R photo)
Design Journal 02：
Design Element： Shape ( An animal by using Shapes on any kind of media )
Design Principle：Emphasis / Hierarchy ( Photo Collage )
